Meredith Hughes Marsh, CHC

Director

Meredith Hughes joined the SFREC team in March 2011 as an Outreach Manager. Meredith Hughes has over 9 years of experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sector. Prior to joining SFREC, Meredith served as an Associate Consultant for a healthcare consulting firm specializing in healthcare compliance and coding. She has worked with physician practices throughout South Florida performing chart audits and ensuring that they are in compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Additionally, Meredith has served as the Director of Development for a local nonprofit organization. In this position, she was responsible for building the foundation for the organization’s private funding initiatives. Meredith received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).

Jillian Larkin

Regional Account Manager for Southern Service Area

Jillian Larkin has five years of experience in the medical sales field. Prior to working at the SFREC, she worked as a sales consultant and medical educator for various orthopedic medical device companies. Jillian received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University. Upon her graduation, she completed research for the nutrition department of the University of Hawaii. She is currently pursuing an MBA with Florida Atlantic University with an emphasis in Health Administration.

Frank Lillo

Regional Account Manager for Northern Service Area

Frank completed the first offering of the HITECH grant training program at Indian River State College in 2010 and became certified as a HIT Pro - PW, Practice Workflow and Information Redesign Specialist. Frank has an extensive and diverse background in software implementation, consultative sales, business systems analysis, workflow redesign and training. His skill sets include project management, presentation, budgeting, public speaking, marketing and technical. He holds degrees in Business Administration as well as Computer Science. He started working with SFREC’s member providers through the IRSC partnership in May of 2011 and joined the SFREC in October of 2011.

 

Jenna Shrigley, MS

Account Manager

Jenna graduated from the University of Central Florida, awarded with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration, and a minor in Health Information Management. She then attended graduate school at Nova Southeastern University to pursue a Masters degree in Biomedical Informatics. Jenna was able to gain expert knowledge within this field and acquire some very valuable hands-on experience by participating in numerous clinical informatics and implementation projects in local healthcare settings.

Abiola Adeife, MBA

Quality Initiatives Coordinator

Abiola joins the SFREC as a PCMH QI Coordinator, who is a subject matter expert on NCQA PCMH requirements and Meaningful Use. Prior to joining SFREC, Abiola was in the retail industry as an Assistant Manager at Walgreens then transitioned into healthcare. She joined Memorial Healthcare Systems as a Unit Coordinator for over 3 years and gained valuable clinical experience. She holds a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Florida Memorial University and a MBA from Nova Southeastern University. Abiola has a passion for Health IT and strives to be the best in everything she does.

Gloria Carbonell

Account Representative

Gloria Carbonell joins the South Florida Regional Extension Center (SFREC) as an Account Representative assisting and educating physicians through the selection, implementation, and meaningful use achievement of electronic medical records. Prior to joining the SFREC, Gloria worked for over 5 years in the medical sales arena, distributing and educating physicians on the use and benefits of cutting edge range of motion orthopedic devices. She also worked as an independent contractor performing software quality testing for various medical device companies throughout the US. Gloria graduated from Florida Atlantic University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Exercise Science and Health Promotion. While at FAU, she worked as a research assistant on projects dealing with exercise physiology and human performance. She has been a personal trainer for over 8 years and still enjoys training in her spare time.
